Shaq Diesel has to be the most entertaining sports celebrity there is. He only arrived in New England this year, but now he is really embracing that good Boston life. After inviting people via twitter to hang out in Harvard Square, pretending he was a statue in Harvard Square, and asking Harvard students where he could find the Microphysics Laboratory, Shaq decided to set his sites on something greater. The 7'1", 325 lb landmark decided he wanted to conduct the Boston Pops Orchestra as a celebrity conductor and it didn't take long for his dream to become a reality.
The big man is hilarious in this video. His facial expressions while conducting are priceless. It's perks like this that make the lives of athletes so cool. I only wish I could have scored myself a ticket to the orchestra on this night, would have been one to remember.
