So last night at 10:30 PM EST the Mega Millions lottery announced the winning numbers to their $355 million drawing. These numbers were;
4 8 15 25 47 42
Remind you of anything, LOST fans? Oh right, the infamous numbers from that show are 4-8-15-16-23-42. That's 4 out of the 6 exactly the same and in the right position! Normally, if someone gets 4 correct numbers including the Mega Million Bonus number, they get a pretty substantial pay day. But this time around, because 25,587 different people played the exact LOST numbers, the prize for 4 correct numbers was only $150 per ticket. So close... yet so far. Hurley would have only won $150 this time around.
Congrats to the two random people in Washington state and Idaho who will split the $355 million dollar prize. What possessed you to almost pick the LOST numbers but then throw in a couple slight alterations?
